General Questions
About BizG, how we work, pricing, and what to expect
What services does BizG offer?+

BizG offers 21 specialist services across four pillars: Business Consultancy (coaching, exit planning, business plans, competitor analysis, marketing strategy, presentation design), Website Services (error fix, SEO audit, speed optimisation, malware removal, on-page SEO, off-page SEO, T&Cs), Branding & Design (logo design, brand identity, website mockups, business video), and Social Media Management (LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, Google My Business). View all services →

Is the initial consultation really free?+

Yes — completely free with no obligation whatsoever. We want to understand your business and challenges before recommending anything. If BizG can help, we'll tell you exactly how. If we can't, we'll be honest about that too and point you in the right direction.

How quickly will you respond to my enquiry?+

We guarantee a response within 24 hours on working days (Monday to Friday, 9am–6pm). In most cases you'll hear from us the same day — often within a couple of hours. You can also reach us by phone on 020 7118 7861 for immediate assistance.

Do I need to know which service I need before contacting you?+

Not at all — and this is actually the most common situation. Most of our clients come to us with a problem, challenge, or goal rather than a specific service in mind. Tell us what's happening in your business and we'll identify the right solution together during your free consultation.

Is BizG UK-based?+

Yes — BizG is a UK-based business support service focused exclusively on helping local business owners across the United Kingdom. We understand UK law, the UK market, and the specific challenges facing UK small businesses. All services are delivered in professional UK English.

Can I get a fixed price before committing?+

Yes — always. Following your free discovery call we'll provide a clear, itemised proposal with fixed pricing. We don't work on open-ended billing — you'll always know exactly what you'll pay before any work begins. There are no hidden costs or surprise extras.

What size of business do you work with?+

We work with businesses of all sizes — from sole traders and startups just getting off the ground through to established SMEs with 50+ employees. Our services and pricing are tailored to your specific stage, goals, and budget. We don't have a one-size-fits-all approach.

Can I use multiple services at the same time?+

Yes — and this is one of the key advantages of BizG. Because we offer all four service pillars under one roof, we can deliver multiple services simultaneously with complete consistency. For example, a logo design and brand identity project can run alongside an SEO audit and social media setup — saving you time and ensuring everything aligns.

Do you work with businesses outside the UK?+

Our primary focus is UK-based businesses, but we work remotely so we can support businesses with UK operations or UK-facing audiences from anywhere. Contact us and we'll discuss whether we're the right fit for your situation.

How do I get started with BizG?+

The simplest way is to book a free discovery call — fill in our contact form, call us on 020 7118 7861, or email hello@bizg.co.uk. We'll arrange a short call to understand your business and what you need, then provide a clear recommendation and proposal. There's no commitment required at any stage.

Business Consultancy
Coaching, exit planning, business plans, strategy, and presentations
What's the difference between coaching and consultancy?+

Consultancy delivers specific solutions to specific problems — we research, analyse, and produce a deliverable (like a business plan or competitor analysis). Coaching builds your own capability to lead and grow your business — through regular sessions, accountability, and strategic thinking partnership. Many clients benefit from both, and we offer a combined approach where appropriate.

When should I start thinking about exit planning?+

Ideally 2–5 years before your intended exit date. This gives you time to identify and address the gaps that suppress your business's value — things like key-person dependency, revenue concentration, and operational documentation. Owners who plan early consistently achieve better exit outcomes than those who start the process when they're ready to go.

Will your business plans be accepted by banks and lenders?+

Our business plans are written to the professional standard that banks, investors, and grant bodies expect — including a compelling executive summary, market analysis, realistic financial projections, and clear strategy. We can't guarantee approval (that depends on your business fundamentals) but we can ensure your plan gives you the best possible chance. Many of our clients have successfully secured funding using BizG plans.

How long does it take to produce a business plan?+

Most business plans are delivered within 7–10 working days from the point we have all the information we need from you. More complex plans or those requiring extensive financial modelling may take up to 14 days. Rush delivery within 3–5 days is available for an additional fee — please mention this when you get in touch.

How many competitors do you include in a competitor analysis?+

Our standard competitor analysis covers up to 5 direct competitors in depth. Extended packages covering up to 10 competitors are available for markets with broader competitive landscapes. We'll discuss the right scope for your market during the initial consultation.

Do I need a marketing strategy if I already do some marketing?+

Almost certainly yes. Most businesses that are already doing "some marketing" are doing it reactively and inconsistently — spending budget across channels without a clear plan for how they work together. A strategy doesn't stop you doing what's already working; it ensures everything you do is pulling in the same direction and that your budget is allocated where it delivers the best return.

Do I need to provide the content for my presentation?+

You provide the content (the information, data, and key messages) and we structure and design it for maximum impact. If your content needs editing, refining, or writing from scratch, that's available as an additional service — just mention it when you get in touch.

How long before I see results from coaching?+

Most coaching clients report feeling clearer and more focused after just 2–3 sessions. Measurable business results — improved revenue, better team performance, clearer strategy — typically emerge within 60–90 days for clients who engage consistently with the process. The most transformative results tend to build over a 3–6 month programme.

G
Website Services
Error fixing, SEO audits, speed, security, and legal pages
What website platforms do you work with?+

We work with all major website platforms including WordPress (our primary specialism, including WooCommerce), Shopify, Wix, Squarespace, and custom HTML/CSS sites. If you're unsure whether we can help with your specific platform, just ask — the answer is almost always yes.

What do I need to provide for an SEO audit?+

Ideally, read-only access to your Google Search Console and Google Analytics accounts. If you don't have these set up, we can conduct a technical-only audit from the outside. We can also help you set up Search Console and Analytics as part of the service.

How long does SEO take to show results?+

SEO timelines vary by competition, current site status, and the specific changes made. On-page SEO improvements typically show ranking changes within 4–12 weeks. Technical fixes can improve crawlability within days. Off-page link building typically produces meaningful ranking movement within 3–6 months. We'll give you a realistic expectation based on your specific situation.

My website's been hacked — how quickly can you help?+

Security incidents are treated as urgent. We aim to begin the cleanup process within 24 hours of your initial contact, and in many cases can start the same day. Contact us immediately if your site has been compromised — every hour matters when it comes to malware.

How much speed improvement can I expect?+

Results vary significantly by site — some see Google PageSpeed scores jump from 30 to 85+. Most WordPress sites achieve at least a 30–40 point PageSpeed improvement. We document before and after scores so you can see exactly what was achieved. If your site has images that haven't been optimised, the improvement is often dramatic.

Are the Terms & Conditions you write legally binding?+

Professionally drafted T&Cs are legally binding when properly displayed on your website with clear acceptance mechanisms. Note: BizG produces professional business documents but we are not a law firm. For complex legal situations — particularly regulated industries, high-value contracts, or contentious clauses — we recommend seeking formal legal advice from a qualified solicitor.

Is your link building white-hat or could it get my site penalised?+

Entirely white-hat — always. We use only manual outreach, content-based link earning, and legitimate citation building. We never use link farms, private blog networks (PBNs), or any paid link schemes that violate Google's guidelines. Our approach is designed for sustainable, long-term results.

Will on-page SEO mean rewriting all my content?+

Not necessarily. We optimise existing content rather than replacing it — adjusting meta data, heading structure, keyword placement, and internal links. Where content is genuinely too thin or poorly written to rank, we'll flag it and content rewriting is available as an additional service.

G
Branding & Design
Logo design, brand identity, website mockups, and business video
Do I own the logo you design for me?+

Yes — upon final payment, full copyright of the final logo design transfers to you completely. You own it outright and can use it for any commercial purpose without restriction or ongoing fees.

How many logo concepts will I see?+

We present three distinct initial concepts — each exploring a genuinely different creative direction. This gives you real choice. Once you choose a direction, we refine it through as many revision rounds as needed until the design is exactly right. In the rare case no initial concept resonates, we'll develop three further concepts at no additional charge.

How long does logo design take?+

Initial concepts are delivered within 5–7 working days. Including revision rounds, most logos are finalised within 2–3 weeks. Rush delivery of initial concepts within 48–72 hours is available for an additional fee.

What's the difference between a logo and a full brand identity?+

A logo is the mark itself — the icon and wordmark. A full brand identity is the complete visual system built around the logo: colour palette (with exact codes), typography system, graphic elements, usage guidelines, social media templates, and a brand guidelines document. The identity ensures your logo is applied consistently across every touchpoint — which is where real brand recognition is built.

Can BizG build my website as well as design the mockups?+

BizG focuses on design — we produce high-quality mockups and design specifications ready for development. Website development is handled by your chosen developer or web agency. If you need a developer recommendation, we're happy to point you toward trusted partners.

Do you provide filming services for business video?+

For clients in our area, we can arrange on-location filming. For clients further afield, we offer a remote production service using footage you provide, plus professional editing, colour grading, branded graphics, licensed music, and subtitles. The quality of the final product is consistently high in both cases.

What formats are brand assets delivered in?+

All brand assets are delivered in a complete pack including: SVG (vector, infinitely scalable), PNG with transparent background, PDF (print-ready), JPG, and any platform-specific formats required. The brand guidelines document is delivered as a professionally designed PDF. Editable source files (AI/Figma) are available on request.

G
Social Media Management
LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, and Google My Business
Will I see all content before it's posted?+

Yes — always, for every platform. You receive the full monthly content calendar in advance for review and approval. Nothing is published without your sign-off. You can request changes, suggest topics, or ask us to hold specific content — the approval process is entirely in your hands.

How many posts per month do you manage?+

Standard packages include 8–12 posts per month on LinkedIn and Google My Business, and 12–16 posts per month on Instagram and Facebook (where more frequent posting is beneficial). Volume can be adjusted up or down based on your preference and budget.

Can I still post on my own social media if you're managing it?+

Absolutely — in fact, we encourage it. We manage the consistent baseline content that keeps your account active, while you can post spontaneous updates, personal content, and real-time reactions whenever you like. We'll make sure everything feels consistent in tone and style.

Can you help me get more Google reviews?+

Yes — review acquisition strategy is a key component of our Google My Business management service. We develop a process that makes it as simple as possible for satisfied customers to leave reviews, staying firmly within Google's guidelines. We also help you respond professionally to all reviews — positive and negative.

Which social media platforms should my business be on?+

It depends on your audience and business type. LinkedIn is essential for B2B businesses and professional services. Instagram works best for visual, lifestyle, and consumer brands. Facebook has the broadest UK demographic reach, particularly 30+. Google My Business is essential for every local business. We recommend starting with the platform where your audience spends the most time — we'll help you identify this during your consultation.

How quickly will I see results from social media management?+

Social media is a medium-term investment. Engagement improvements are typically visible within 30–60 days. Follower growth and enquiry generation from social typically build over 3–6 months of consistent, quality management. Google My Business optimisation often produces visibility improvements within 2–4 weeks.

Is there a minimum contract length for social media management?+

We ask for a minimum 3-month commitment for social media management — this is the realistic timeframe to build momentum and begin showing meaningful results. After 3 months, arrangements continue on a rolling monthly basis with 30 days' notice required to cancel.
